2020 was a complicated year for so many, and in so many ways, but as we look back on what it brought to us as a business, and to myself personally, I feel lucky to have had the extra time for growth and the blessing to be able to kick off this new year going full steam ahead.
Looking Back at 2020:
Front Porch Properties SC sold 27 homes as a listing agent and we sold 23 homes as a buyers’ agent in the area.
That’s a total of 50 homes sold in and around Charleston in 2020 (that’s an average of 4.2 homes sold A MONTH, if that tells you anything about our market)! We had an average of eight days on the market and, on average, received 97.5% of asking price.
Staging Charleston staged 25 of Front Porch Properties’ homes in 2020 and staged over 21 other homes for local agents here in Charleston.
While the market kept us busy, busy (THANK YOU!) we did manage to squeeze in some family time on the new boat (our favorite COVID safe activity of the year).
I also took a little time away to refresh in Tulum at the Amansala Eco Chi Resort which included 2 workouts a day, nothing but fresh, clean eats and some real time to rejuvenate in order to be on my A-Game for all my amazing clients!
As we begin to forecast and plan for 2021 in the Lowcountry it looks to be a SELLERS MARKET. Inventory in the area is at an all time low and sellers are getting top dollar for their listings as we start the new year.
